Product manager

We build one product: an AI COO for cross-border commerce. Three business lines run on it. The feature sets differ; we do not build three products.

Working out requirements and turning them into design needs someone whose whole job it is. An engineer facing a requirement naturally slides towards "how do I build this", while this role has to hold on to "what are we actually solving" — two different modes of thought, and steadier when two roles carry them.

All three lines route through you.

What you will do

• Bring the requirements of three business lines together and judge which are the same thing and which must stay apart
• Own the whole path alone, from working out the requirement through to a design someone can build from
• Talk to users directly. A requirement is not filed in a document waiting to be collected; it is asked for
• Make the trade-off between what a line wants and what the product should be — and own that trade-off

What we look for

• You can run the whole path alone. Producing the designs yourself is best; if you cannot, you have to be able to drive a contract designer to a buildable one — "I describe, you draw" is a way of working, and getting it to buildable is on you
• Fluency with tools like Claude Code. A requirement, not a bonus point
• You learn fast. Cross-border commerce runs deep; what we care about is how quickly you can interrogate an unfamiliar domain into clarity
• You like talking to people. You will be sent into customers' offices to ask
• You can give reasons for what we will not build. Three lines cannot all be served; choosing is the main work of this job
